HUSHAM AL-HUSAINY, IMAM: You are — you are against the Prophet Mohammed. You are against the faith of Muslims. You are against…
HANNITY: No. Sir.
AL-HUSAINY: And just going to get mad at you. Jesus is going to get mad at you. You are working against the unity of the world.
HANNITY: What have I said — what have I said, sir?
AL-HUSAINY: … Jews and Christians, you are working against America. You are disturbing the peace between east and west. You are really — you are the anti-peace person.
HANNITY: I’m the anti-peace. You’re the one that called — hello? Hello?

HANNITY: Welcome back to “Hannity and Colmes.” I’m Sean Hannity.
That was a clip of my explosive interview with Husham al-Husainy. That was the imam who spoke at the DNC winter meeting. And last night on “Hannity’s America” we debated the controversial imam’s melt-down with political pundits. Tonight, we have an expert on radical Islam to discuss how dangerous perhaps this man is.
Joining us now the author of “They Call Me Infidel: Why I Renounced Jihad for America, Israel and the War on Terror”, Nonie Darwish is with us. Nonie, you hear that. What do you interpret happened there?
NONIE DARWISH, AUTHOR, “NOW THEY CALL ME INFIDEL”: Well Many Muslim religious leaders, they are not used to be questioned, because they come from the Middle East where nobody questions them. So they come here and they get questioned by western media, and they unleash the wrath of God against you, Sean.
And he is telling you, you’re an infidel to ask me any question. I don’t owe you any honest answers. That’s what he’s telling you. The man is obviously a pro-Hezbollah person.
HANNITY: Well, and I think this is why I wouldn’t relent on the question. And by the way, I was nice. I was respectful. I was patient. I gave him time to answer. But I did force the issue. And a couple questions. Was he calling America the oppressor nation? Will he — is Hezbollah a terrorist organization? Is Ahmadinejad an anti-Semite. He denies the Holocaust. Why would he not answer those very basic, simple questions?
DARWISH: He’s obviously a Shiite Muslim. That’s my guess, by the way, because he supports Hezbollah. And he’s an Iraqi, I guess, and then he had supported the war.
HANNITY: In the beginning.
DARWISH: At the beginning, obviously because he wanted to get rid of Saddam, who oppress Shiites. But now…
HANNITY: Let me ask you a question. Is he — do you think he’s dangerous?
DARWISH: Absolutely, he’s dangerous because he is — he is double faced. He is not being honest. He doesn’t want to answer the honest questions. How can a person living in America, prospering in America, having his freedom in America and then say that Hezbollah is a good organization and defends Hezbollah?
ALAN COLMES, CO-HOST: Hey, Nonie…
DARWISH: Hezbollah, their motto is “Death to America.”
COLMES: It’s Alan Colmes.
DARWISH: Any person who lives in America and believes that Hezbollah is good, then they are not…
COLMES: I’d like — I’d be curious. When he was supporting the Bush/Iraq war and when he was celebrating the death of Saddam Hussein, when he was invited to the State Department and the Pentagon to advise the Bush administration, why wasn’t anybody then complaining about his Hezbollah ties?
DARWISH: Well, I’m not saying — I didn’t see he has ties with Hezbollah. But he’s a sympathizer of it.
COLMES: But he wasn’t called that when he was on the side of Bush and the Republicans and supporting the Iraq war.
DARWISH: Well, he was in favor of the war for his personal…
COLMES: But he wasn’t being criticized then. Only when he comes out against the war, when he realized that things in Iraq aren’t going well, when he speaks for the Democrats during a Democratic meeting, only then do the same people who supported him in the past now attack him and his beliefs.
DARWISH: We are criticizing him because of what he did with Sean. This is the topic now.
COLMES: So you’re talking about him being pro-Hezbollah. Why didn’t we investigate? Why didn’t the Democrats look into his past before they had him speak? No one asked that question when he was supporting Republicans and being advisor to the State Department and the Pentagon.
DARWISH: I’m not sure if his views about Hezbollah were clear at that time. But he clearly flip-flops about his policy in Iraq, according to his views. His limited views pro-Shiite, of course. He wants now America to withdraw so a blood bath can start in Iraq.
HANNITY: We’ve got to run.
DARWISH: He very well knows why America is there.
HANNITY: Not one Democrat criticized him for saying America is an oppressor nation. Thanks for being with us.
